My Writing

Here you can find a selection of writing samples, some of them longer, some shorter. There are pieces of academic writing which I worked on during my studies in Germany and the US, as well as pieces of creative writing.

Creative writing is not only a hobby of mine, but it also helps me to gain a better and more playful understanding of the English language.

Novella

The Changing of the Season (Chapter I)

I have been working on this creative project on and off for about two years. The excerpt you can read here is the first chapter of that project, which I believe is the best piece of creative writing I have produced so far.

I may not be a native English speaker, but English has become my preferred language to write in, no matter if academically, creatively, in correspondence, or in other forms.

I do not claim for my English to be perfect, but with every English word I read and write, my feeling for the flow and feel of the language grows stronger.
